Long-awaited update!

Hello hello.

I apologise for not being able to update this sad blog of mine. I've been really busy with school assignments one after another (not being able to sleep for 3 days straight), geez. Anyway, a few months back, I did some face-ups for some of the local BJD owners during my term break. Even though my ability to do the line work is still rusty, I somehow managed to complete it.

As I'm about to end my 2nd year in the course of study, things will get busier since my internship is coming up pretty soon, next year (either April to June or June to August 2017). So during my term break, I'm only able to get some face-up work done. Which is this coming December 2016.

Sigh, I just can't wait to graduate from the course that I'm in ;_;

I'm back, sort of?

What's up!

As some of you might notice, I'm leaving the hobby (not the community!). I have neglected my dolls for more than 2 years now and it's really the time for me to let go of them. Both Soom Lami and Crobidoll Lance is up on DoA, as well as the floating head - Migidoll Ryo. My I.O.S Sezz will be up anytime soon. Please, please, please help me find them a new home! ;A; I'm not closing my face-up service; it'll still be open for as long as I live (lol).

After going through the 1st year of my design course, I have accepted 2 doll heads to work on now. Luckily it's just the beginning of 2nd year so I took the opportunity to do face-up.

So yeh, I'm still alive and the shop is still open! Please feel free to commission me any time.

{ IMPORTANT } News & Updates!

Hello!

I have an important news for you guys - I'm increasing the price of my face-ups and the face-up removal fee as I've calculated in the cost of  art supplies and other materials that I need to restock when it runs out. This may be a bit of a surprise for some of you, but I really hope that you can continue giving me your support and I will do my best to improve on the faces I painted! :D

For the monthly system, as I called it, will be thrown out of the window. Yup, I'm not going to follow monthly batches and so on. Now it's first come first serve basis, the shop will always be open unless I mention about taking a break or I'm busy with school projects, etc. I may limit the slots or refuse commissions when my schedule is tight.

As I'm waiting for applying into a Polytechnic to get my diploma, the turn around time will be changed as well. I'm afraid that once I get into Poly, everything will be hectic and I might not be able to manage to finish up working on the heads and the school work at the same time.

I really do encourage BJD owners to give me a bit of a challenge to work on their dolls, so that I can learn from it and slowly get to improve on my style of painting their faces. And it's about time for me to get a tattoo commission for their dolls, don't you think? XD (pssst someone?)

Hello~!

It's been quite a while since I last updated a thing or two here. My apologies. What I've been up to these few months were just solely focusing on completing my Final Year Project and have not gone into any social media sites, or rather, I don't have the time to do that. (what is time... somebody please tell me :|)

Alllllllll the frustrations aside, I know a lot of you were interested in my work and would like to commission me asap. I was supposed to open the slots in Oct BUT, due to some last minute student exchange programme that my lecturer put me into (and I'm flying off 3 days later), it has to be pushed back to Nov instead. So... SLOTS FOR NOV!!! Which I will make another blog post about it at the end of Oct or so.

Now, I'll proceed to reply long-awaited emails and PMs. Have a nice cup of tea.

{ CLOSED } Slots for June.

Hey everybody!

Finally, I'm able to get back to painting doll faces after all the school works and projects I've done over these months. But it's still not the vacation month, just yet, however, I'm just gonna open up slots for June if anyone is keen to send me heads to paint! Do drop me a mail at: shootda.zero(at)gmail(dot)com if you are up for it! (and please don't back out at the last minute :<)

I also have to mention this again, in case some of you are lazy to read the Info & Process tab, to print out the commission form (I don't work anywhere near my laptop/phone due to the area size of the workspace so yeah). Another thing is, I only accept 2 doll heads per person for the time being, so please bear with me ^^;

Hiatus and Price Increase.

Hello, everyone!

I'm still alive~! :'D
I have completed most of the doll heads from last year but there are still two more to work on. After that, I'm putting this face-up commission shop on hiatus as this is my last year in school (read: graduation!) and might not have the time to take on commissions while working on my school projects.
I may consider opening some slots during the end of May, depending on my workload from school, so we'll see!

On another news, I'm going to increase price starting from the time when I open up the shop. Prices for MSDs and YoSDs will not be the same as before, please refer to the prices below.

The prices are going to increase as follows:

SD/Hound: $20
MSD: $15
YoSD and smaller: $10

I hope it's reasonable lol. Including the cost of materials went up and all that >_>;


Also, I will only accept 2 heads per person from now, due the limited amount of time I can spend on painting the heads and keeping the quality of face-ups up to a certain standard. (To me, it's always quality over quantity. Yep.)
